Direct Care
Expert surgical teams treat children who otherwise would not receive care, through Global Outreach missions and the US Hub.
Expert surgical teams travel to under-resourced communities in Ecuador and Nicaragua, delivering life-changing pediatric spine surgery where it's needed most, directly in their hospitals, alongside local teams.
In 11 countries, SpineHope teams have performed 340+ complex surgeries and evaluated 1,200+ patients.

Our global outreach missions bring together volunteer pediatric spine surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff who donate their time and expertise to serve children with severe spinal deformities. Each mission lasts 7-10 days, during which teams screen dozens of patients, perform complex corrective surgeries, and provide post-operative care protocols for local teams to follow.
By operating inside partner hospitals rather than mobile clinics, we strengthen the local institution's capacity while ensuring children receive the highest standard of care. Every mission leaves behind trained personnel, donated equipment, and follow-up protocols, building infrastructure that outlasts any single trip.

Post-surgical check-ins and bracing support to protect the outcome long after the mission ends. Providing long-term monitoring, clinical physical therapy, and checkups.
Training and fellowship partnerships so local teams lead more cases every year. Empowering under-resourced clinicians to provide long-term sustainable care.
In collaboration with local pediatric orthopedic departments and clinical sponsors.
Your gift covers the full cost of a child's surgical care, from the operating room to recovery. Every dollar fuels direct medical intervention in communities with no other option.
Three pillars of care working together: surgical missions, in-country treatment, and training the next generation.
