Text messaging

If you opt in to SMS by texting JOIN to (267) 390-8837 or by completing a form on spinehope.org, we will send occasional messages about donations, text-to-give, events, and mission updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

How you opt in on our website

The sign-up form on our pages asks for your email address, and a mobile number is optional. Next to it is a separate box, unchecked until you check it, that reads:

We only add you to text messages if you check that box and give us a mobile number. When you do, we keep a record of the words you agreed to and when you agreed to them.

Donor and mobile lists

We do not sell donor or mobile lists. Service providers (including our texting platform) are used only to deliver messages you requested.

Analytics and advertising

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and the Meta pixel so we can measure whether our advertising reaches people who care about this work. Both place cookies and send information about your visit, including pages viewed, whether you completed a donation, and the gift amount, to those companies. We do not send them your name, email address, or phone number. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and you can control advertising cookies in your browser or in your Meta account settings.
