About this Project
The UT Austin x Spine Hope collaboration was created by a group of students (Maya, Jeremiah, Aethyr, Aaron, Kartik) part of the Project Advance Austin class at the University of Texas at Austin. The purpose of this website is to help kids understand that bodies are diverse and unique, and that everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin. Through engaging activities, kids will practice building self-confidence and learn to appreciate their own appearance, which in turn encourages acceptance of others who may look different. This project also aims to foster empathy toward individuals with physical disabilities, helping build more inclusive and supportive communities.
